About the Book
This is the first serving of a multi-part Story of Gold (Mac) & Silva (Storelgen) that was inspired by the Tallest Moose War between Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada and Stor-Elvdal, Norway. The actual contention was centred around Storelgen (Big Elk) and Mac the Moose. Mac the Moose is an iconic and precious Moose to the people of Saskatchewan in Canada and Storelgen is a precious and soothing Elk (Moose) to the people of Norway.
Storelgen, the Big Elk is “believed and rumoured” to be prettier and taller than Mac the Moose thereby taking some glitter and iconic record off Mac the Moose. This sparked a war between the peoples of Saskatchewan (Canada) and Stor-Elvdal, Norway. By the special grace of God, the war was resolved over a few drinks and fine dinner in Moose Jaw, SK, Canada with a written truce and declarations of brotherly and sisterly love and cooperation.
As Peace Maker, I felt the compassion to add something lovely and delicious to sweeten the truce and the hearts of the peoples of Canada and Norway as Mac (Gold) and Storelgen (Silva) lived happily after as a Brother and a Sister (or a Husband and a Wife? Your call).
This book is a throwback and a fictional account of how it could have been if the Mac the Moose (Gold) and Storelgen (Silva) had taken this war by the HORNS; literarily by their own HORNS. They did in this book. You will find the outcome inside this little book. I don’t want to spoil the surprise. Delicious and lovely is the hint.
